8/25/06 - Her first day out of the hospital and Taylor can even avoid a lab technician poking her heel. She was initiated into the Group Health Pediatric System. She had her first doctor's appointment this afternoon and everything looks good. According to the scale in the office she weighs 8 lbs. 12 oz. Probably a little artificially high, but weigh gain none the less.
She continues to adjust to her new surroundings and has spent some time on her changing pad, in her swing, in her boppy (a curved pillow), in her bassinet, in her car seat, and in the Baby Bjorn (a front pack carrier). Hopefully she will continue to be a good car traveler she seems very comfortable in her car seat.
