Mother's Day I had a great Mother's Day! We had a family get away to San Diego. Kevin had missed out on our Legoland and Sea World visits so we did round 2 of both parks - Legoland on Saturday and Sea World on Sunday. I was thrilled to FINALLY spend some quality time with my family down here. We also got to connect with some college friends of ours, Drew and Heather, and meet their new daughter, Clara. They also got to meet Taylor for the first time. Sea World - Take II Feeding and interacting with the dolphins Stylin in our 3D shades for the Sesame Street 4D movie. Taylor petting the rays Dad rescuing Taylor from the starfish

Legoland - Take II Our confession: The first time we went to Legoland we discovered you have to be at least 34" to even go on rides. Taylor is ~33" so even though she was so close they said sorry! So this time around we took matters into our own hands and purchased Taylor some new shoes with THICK soles! Our little girl miraculously grew an inch or so and this time around we did A LOT more rides! =) New shoes YAY! 34" Driving the boats with Dad Taylor LOVED this ride. It zipped them around the corners and it got squeals of delight out of her every time. Daddy's favorite attraction.

Disneyland!!! Dad finally got his first day off to spend with us since we got here. So of course we went to Disneyland! Overall Taylor had a great experience. She is quite the trooper wanting to walk every where. Disneyland is great because very few of the rides have minimum height requirements so Taylor was able to go on most things.

Tomorrow Land Taylor LOVED driving the cars on the Autopia ride. We also went on Buzz Light Year, which was too scary for her. The noise level is very loud on all the rides which she didn't care for and she didn't like the black lights. And we went on the Finding Nemo Submarine ride which she mostly enjoyed.

Fantasy Land We went on many other rides in Fantasy Land besides the carousel , but these were the best pictures. This was actually Taylor's first carousel ride and she definitely enjoyed it. She was a bit apprehensive until the ride started. Several of the rides in Fantasy Land were too scary for a 21 month old specifically Snow White and Pinnochio. While riding those rides Taylor kept her head buried in our arms saying "Bye Bye, Bye Bye!" It broke my heart. However, when the ride was over she was very excited and left happy.
