We've Been Busy! Sorry we haven't kept the blog up to date lately. Kevin has been working in Los Angeles during the week and traveling home on the weekends, so Mom has been busy taking care of kids (and without the computer we put all of our pictures on) and Dad has been busy working. Here is a long blog post of some of our pre-Christmas activities that we have squeezed in on the weekends. The Tree Farm This year we went to a tree farm in Shelton with Uncle Brian and Aunt Susanne. The finished product. The stockings are hung. We even pulled out good ole Bing. The girls love to turn on the music and dance with him. Duncan Reunion We had a great time at a family reunion a couple weeks ago. I mostly took pictures of the kids. The collage that appears after this post on our blog is a larger compliation of everyone involed. Florek Christmas #1 Amanda and Jonah hosted our Christmas get together with my Dad and family. On Christmas Eve we will gather with the extended Florek family...

A Random Assortment This post contains many of the miscellaneous pictures that have been collecting on our memory card. Enjoy! Mommy teaching Taylor some table manners. Hailey is a climber. She has been able to climb into our dinning room chairs for many months now. A relaxing Sunday. Hailey was incredibly cute when I pulled the camera out to take this picture, out of no where she said "cheese" with no prompting from us or Taylor. Taylor will play with dolls occassionally, but Hailey loves them! She loves dolls and she loves real babies. She loves to cuddle with them and pat their heads. Too precious! This is Taylor learning to take pictures. Several of them have our heads chopped off, but she is getting better. Hailey enjoys coloring. Here's Hailey sporting Grandpa Ken's glasses. I was busy in the kitchen and when I peaked around the corner to check on the girls this is what I saw. Hailey had booted the cat out of her bed and she climbed in. As you can see she w...

Disney on Ice Last week, I (Kevin) had bought tickets to Disney on Ice - there were 3 tickets and Taylor thought the excitement of taking a friend on this adventure was better than bringing mommy along so I got the opportunity to take Taylor and Anika to see all that Disney had to offer. It started with a pre -show princess viewing party and plenty of oooh's & awww's towards all of the other dressed up kids that these beautiful Snow Whites were running across. Got more exciting when Ice Cream and Popcorn entered the equation. But most of all it was the thrill of the show and everything that came on the ice that made their night. We saw Mickey & Minnie, Cars ,The Lion King, The Little Mermaid (and Ursela, Taylor's favorite because she give Ariel legs), and Tinkerbell with all her fairy friends. When the lights came on after the show, the girls got to take their souvenirs down onto to part of the rink that had been covered with wood to hold additional seats. Here ...

Happy Halloween Hailey - an elephant Snow White Taylor - a princess of course! We started the evening trick-or-treating with Alli and Eli (old play group pals). Then, on to our neighborhood for our first Halloween in this house. Our neighborhood was BUSY! Sadly we had to turn off our light around 8ish because we ran out of candy. Taylor had a blast going around to the neighbors (the above picture is Taylor with our neighbor Kathy). Then she came home and had just as much fun handing out candy. The kids loved her because she was VERY generous while passing candy out. Hailey had fun following the older kids around, but never fully understood what she was supposed to do. She didn't want to hold her container for the candy she just wanted to pull the candy out of it and shove it in her mouth! She looked so adorable in her costume!

Spooners Here are some pictures from our annual pumpkin patch adventure to Spooners. The girls loved riding around in the wheelbarrow, especially Hailey! Taylor has never been interested in cleaning out the pumpkin, too messy and gooey for her. Hailey, on the other hand, thought this process was nothing but FUN! She loved scraping out the guts, eating the guts, and smearing the guts all around! Kevin is our pumpkin artist. He always does a fantastic job. This year, in honor of Taylor's love for the Disney Princesses, he carved (left to right) Ariel, Cinderella, and Snow White. Snow White looks a little angry... oh well it is Halloween!
