Taylor Time

Kindergarten Celebration  This photo isn't from the end of the year celebration, but it is from Kindergarten. Taylor ran for Class Representative and won! She was so proud. The class of 2024 We celebrated Kindergarten graduation with Taylor and the 3 different classes at her school. The kids sang several cute songs and read us a story. Jenn and Elliott came to cheer for and celebrate Taylor! Thanks for coming! Select students were asked to read pieces from a book. Above is a picture of Taylor reading her part. Her teacher for the 2nd half of the year is holding the microphone.  The quilt looks a little empty because several students took their pictures. Our FIRST GRADER!!!!

Field Trip I had a blast chaperoning Taylor's end of the year field trip to Pt. Defiance Zoo! Kevin was the one who enthusiastically signed us up for the experience and then backed out leaving me with a group of 5 Kindergartners all by myself.... I gotta admit I was a little nervous. He wished he could have joined us, but work called. Luckily Sarah's mom, a good friend of ours, was able to join the group last minute so I got a helper and friend to join me!!! Twins The girls decided they wanted to be twins for the day. Aren't they adorable?

The Party Continued Micah received many fun gifts from our family and friends - THANK YOU!!! Micah was a little overwhelmed by the number of kids surrounding him and all the people watching him. In the picture, behind my head, there was a basket of balls. The balls were set out as party favors and they were the only things Micah had eyes for, those and a pack of bubbles. As I tried to steer his attention towards unwrapping the older kids couldn't wait to "help" Micah unwrap his gifts. Honestly, it was a little stressful, but we surived. =)  Of course Micah loved every second of the first birthday cake experience. He loved the attention, the singing, and of course the sugar!  He ate...  And ate...  And kept eating until eventually his tray looked like this and we tore him away - straight to the bath tub! Great clean-up Dad!!! 

The Party! June 3, 2012 Our baby turned 1! I had a blast planning and preparing Micah's sports themed party. I made sports pennants, one for each month since Micah's birth. I think they turned out really cute. I took this picture at night because it was hard to see the details with the sun shining through the window during the day.  We had each guest autograph Micah's football. Notice Hailey's signature, "H." Our menu consisted of foods that reminded me of each sport. Soccer - orange slices, baseball - peanuts and cracker jacks, basketball - popcorn, football - hot dogs. This was Micah's "smash cake" he ate almost the entire thing!!! Pictures are coming soon!

Oh My! Gone is my "innocent" little baby, here is my little toddler boy. Notice standing on the seat wasn't enough he had to get to the highest most dangerous place to stand. He was proud. =)

So Sad!!!! The Jensen family is moving to Colorado! Erin is originally from Colorado Springs and all of her family currently lives there. We are so sad to say goodbye to our friends that are our family! We have known each other for about 13 years and have shared so much of life together therefore we share so many memories.... our dating years, marriage, careers, babies and soooo much more! We love you Brad, Erin, Carter, and Julianne! We will miss your presence here in Washington!  Our last BBQ at the Jensen's =(  Carter's end of the year preschool celebration - look for him in his Sounders jersey  Play date! I tried and tried and tried and tried to get a picture of the 3 of them looking at the camera and smiling with no success at all. Then, I just tried to get the 3 of them looking at the camera, nope!
