Random New Pictures - I peaked in on Taylor today and this is what I saw. So cute! She's really been fighting nap time so now we have "rest time" where she's allowed to lay in bed and read books until I come and tell her she can get up. My hope is that she'll fall asleep...sometimes she does sometimes she doesn't. A sweet friend of mine, Sarena, got me this herb growing kit for a birthday/house warming gift. Taylor got to help me plant the seeds. I hope I don't kill it! =) We're growing basil, thyme, and sage Hailey got those toes to her mouth Hailey got to try rice cereal for the first time the other night. Overall she liked it. I'm not sure how much she actually swallowed, but it was a good attempt.
Pacifier Free I don't want to jinx things, but as of last Thursday Taylor decided that she was a big girl, wanted to sleep in a big girl bed, and willingly threw away her pacifier to earn that privledge. The first 36 hours revealed a little regret, but I haven't heard the word mentioned since - even when other kids (including Hailey) are sucking away on one in front of her.

Part I Hailey had her 4 month check up. She weighs 13 lbs 10oz (37th percentile) and she is 25.4" long (79th percentile). She's doing great! Part II Here are some pictures of the progress we're making on our house. Carpet is supposed to be installed this coming Thursday/Friday and we're hoping to move in on Saturday. So, if anyone is willing to help us move on Saturday we'd appreciate the help! We'll send out an email with the info.! Sorry, poor lighting for the picture. This is the new paint color, Quiet Veranda, for our living/dining area. We weren't sure how it was going to turn out, but we both really like it! The new kitchen color, Dorian Gray. We LOVE the gray. Hopefully new floors, countertops, etc. will follow soon. The freshly painted playroom. We covered the orange with this nice neutral tanish color and kept the red. Same neutral in the master bed with a dark brown accent wall. Taylor's room. Still a little lavender, but only 2 walls thi...

Hailey Update Hailey is 4 months old and she is going in for her check up on Friday to see how big she is! Hailey has been checking off one milestone after another lately! For almost a month Hailey has been rolling from her back to her tummy on her changing pad (naughty!! =) but on January 5th she officially rolled from her back to tummy on the floor! So she's conquered both ways. She has also found her toes in the rolling over process. She doesn't chew on them yet, but she enjoys grabbing them and rocking. Hailey can also sit up all by herself for about 10 seconds! What a big girl! Here are some pictures of these exciting events. Oops - almost... YAY - look all by myself! That's enough guys - this is hard work! Rolling over! Beautiful girl!

The New House!!! People have been asking to see pictures of our new house so here they are! For those of you who haven't heard the details of our house it is 2,000 sq. ft., 2 stories, 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath, a small bonus room, and laundry room. This post contains all before pictures. We have been plugging away with many projects. Thank you to all of you who helped out last weekend. It is tricky trying to get all this done with little ones running around. I will post some progress pictures soon. We are painting everything and getting all new carpet with hopes of redoing the kitchen in the future. The latest renovation update is: the painters are done and carpet is ordered. We hope to be moving in about 2 weeks... This is what our dining/living room used to look like. We have taken out the fireplace and half wall to create a nice open space. We have conveniently rerouted the gas pipping to our patio for BBQing purposes. This is the big toy that came with the house. The wind did so...

Merry Christmas! Christmas isn't just a day celebration in our family it lasts a good 7 days if not more. Here are our 4 different family get togethers and 1 is missing. Our celebration consisted of singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and remembering his birth is the reason we celebrate this holiday, sharing fond memories of Christmas past, eating way too many "special treats" that are no longer special, but the norm., spoiling the girls and other kids with gifts, and spending quality time with all our family. We hope your Christmas holiday was as fabulous as ours! this girl means business! sleeping babies are so precious This was Taylor's gift from Aunt Ashley, Uncle Shawn, and cousin Zachariah. It is a pop star dress-up outfit and needless to say Taylor LOVED it. She threw quite the tantrum when we told her she had to take it off for bedtime! Ever since Taylor got to dress up as Tinkerbell while playing at her friend Emily's house she has wanted her own costume. ...
