Taylor's Christmas Program Taylor's preschool class performing. The 4 year olds sang Silent Night , O Little Town of Bethlehem , and Away in a Manger . They also quoted Luke 2:13-14. They were absolutely adorable! They learned motions/sign language to all the songs.

25 Days of Christmas A favorite family tradition of many of my MOPS friends is called the 25 Days of Christmas. Each day you plan a family activity, outing, craft, etc. I filled 25 envelopes (shown below) and the girls get to open 1 each morning. So far the girls have really enjoyed this and look forward to what the envelope holds for the day. Some are more "extravagant" than others, but the girls just enjoy the surprise. Since Kevin is out of work I have tried to keep everything free or as cheap as possible. So far things on our list have included: decorating the Christmas tree, checking out Christmas books from the library, going to Seattle for a caroling competition, the Living Nativity, decorating a gingerbread house, a green and red dinner, and much more is to come. Hunter's Tree Farm The weekend after Thanksgiving we went with Brian and Susanne to find Christmas trees. This year we went to a tree farm in Olympia. It was a big farm with animals (reindeer, goats, donkeys, etc), Santa Claus and more. The girls LOVED running between the trees and hiding between the trees; Hailey played a lot of peek-a-boo! On the wagon ride around the farm. The chosen tree. The girls are much more likely to pose and potentially look at the camera if I ask them to do a silly face rather than a smile, go figure. =) Taylor loved the manager scene. She had to say hi to baby Jesus!
