Taylor Time

 The Chosen One Below are pictures of our new addition, Stella. On September 1st, Hailey's birthday, we drove to Yakima to pick up the dog; Hailey thought this was a great birthday activity! Stella is the cutest little puppy!!! She started out rather scared and bashful, but quickly warmed up to us. Now, she is very playful and energetic. We're working on house training and crate training and she does especially well at nights.   Thanks to everyone who offered their input on this decision! The birthday girl and our new puppy!  The girls were so excited to show off our new family member so we HAD to have our neighbor girls over ASAP! We turned our backs for 2 seconds and this is what happened. =) They thought this was hilarious and fun. We ended our long day with some presents. It was a great day!

 Finally FOUR!!!! We just adore this little girl! She is bashful, playful, tough, generous, and witty. Our Hailey Layne finally turned four September 1st. It is hard for a 3 year old to watch both of her siblings have parties and birthdays and patiently wait for hers to roll around. This year she decided to have another Odyssey 1 party because they're just so much fun! She had a great time running, jumping, and playing with her friends. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate such a wonderful little girl.

 Taylor's First Day of School Taylor started First Grade on August 28th. She was so excited to be reunited with her old pals from Kindergarten so she wanted to ride the bus to see them as soon as possible. Just like last year we had her ride the bus and I met the bus as she arrived at school. Together we found her class. I was feeling so strong until she walked into her classroom and then the tears started flowing right as the teacher walked over to introduce herself. Taylor looked at me and tenderly said, "Mom it's going to be okay you don't need to cry!" I told her, "I know you'll be just fine, but you're getting so big and I am going to miss you all day!" Taylor had a great first day and couldn't wait to return the next day.

You are Invited to a Tea Party! Emily, with the help of her Grandma Melody, put together an extravagant tea party. Our hostesses served us a lovely lunch with a variety of delicious treats. The girls and I had a great time getting all dressed up. The girls are in awe every time I put a dress on because it happens so rare. =) This special occasion was the perfect finale to the summer.  Emily made our place cards. Melody gave each girl their own tea cup and saucer as a gift.
