Taylor Time

This girl is hilarious! Tonight was her cup. =) Taylor refused to go to bed without her cup. For more details see the last post.

Our daughter... you've gotta love her persistance and how strong willed she is! Tonight it was not an option to sleep without her fireman hat! A couple of nights ago it was her new volleyball. It took her a few minutes to figure out how to lay down and keep the hat on her head, but as you can see she was successful. She has also discovered a love for her blankie. We didn't think she was ever going to appreciate her blanket, but now it is occassionally more desired than the paci. And now a moment to brag - today Taylor and I were picking up her dominoes when she picked up a domoino and said "2" which is common for her to say, but it was followed by a "3" and I was really impressed. I was shocked when she continued she made it all the way to 7!!! I tried to get her to count to 7 again, but all I got was "2,2,2,2,etc." I'm not sure what that means.

The Bouncy Place This is our latest hot spot thanks to Aunt Ashley and Uncle Shawn who shared it with us. They have several bouncy toys/slides for the kids to play on. This last week Taylor's play group met there and the kids had a great time. If anyone with kids would like to check it out with us let me know we would love to go with you! You can click on The Bouncy Place for their website. Taylor is absolutely fearless! She goes down all by herself. Sometimes she goes head first, sometimes backwards, she loves it all. She gets the biggest smile on her way down and yells, "WEEEEEE!!!!" Mama and Taylor Taylor, Alli, and Eli. Amazing they all sat there for 10 seconds for me to snap this picture!

We asked you to vote on the sex of the baby to be so we thought we'd ask Taylor as well. The conversation went something like this... Daddy: Do you want a brother or sister? Taylor: Sister D: Do you want a sister or brother? T: Sister (These questions were each repeated a couple times with sister always the answer) To mix it up a little Daddy asked: Do you want a brother or a brother? T: Sister Then we added a couple more variables D: Do you want a sister or puppy? T: Puppy D: Do you want a puppy or kitty? T: Kitty D: Do you want a kitty or a sister? T: Sister Moral of the story - Even though she doesn't have a clue what a brother or sister is she wants a sister. And a picture to satisfy your cravings... Here's Taylor doing her first somersault! She thought it was pretty fun as judged by the many more that followed .
