Friends together, friends apart! The girls and I drove to Vancouver, WA to visit Nina, Naomi, and Caleb. Nina's sister lives in Vancouver and recently got married so Nina was in town for the wedding. Naomi and Taylor hit it off right away. I wish we lived closer so both sets of girls could play more. =)

Catch-Up The last three weeks have been busy for us. Bittersweet-ly we wrapped up our 4 month stay in Santa Cruz, CA. We will miss the beach, our hot tub, and of course our Ben Lomond friends! Mini Vacation Over the holiday weekend we had the opportunity to go on a mini family vacation. We took advantage of Ken and Marilyn's timeshare and stayed near Santa Rosa in a town called Windsor, CA. It is in the middle of beautiful wine country and for you foodies the home of Guy Fieri's restaurants (Johnny Garlics and Tex Wasabi). We had a great time relaxing, playing shuffle board, swimming in the pool, and we made one last trek to Six Flags Marine World. Taylor likes to "make rain" while Hailey likes to play it safe by the edge. The girls love the water. Hailey is getting braver every time she gets in the water. She surprised Kevin and I the other night by independently doing "bobs" in our hot tub. Taylor continues to fine tune her newly learned skills and can glide rather well. Cuddling by the fire with a little Dr. Seuss Back to Six Flags. This time we enjoyed some new experiences and adventures. Above, the elephant ride. We got to feed the Lori...
