End of the season Soccer season has come to a close. Taylor had a great time developing her soccer skills and enjoyed the bonus of her coach being Dad. Here are a couple more pictures of Taylor in action on the field.

Disney on Ice - Toy Story 3 We knew Disney on Ice was in town again, but we had decided to skip it this year that is until we got an unexpected phone call. Sadly our friend Carter was sick so he couldn't use his tickets. You may remember a post from 2 years ago when Kevin took Taylor to Disney on Ice so we decided it was Hailey's turn. So Dad took Hailey on a date and she had a wonderful time. Hailey wanted to dress up in her Rapunzel dress. Captivated by the show. Thanks Brad, Erin, Carter and Sharon! =)

Both girls love to play with make-up. Hailey especially loves to play with eye shadow. Turns out she feels eye shadow isn't just for the eyes. I should have taken a picture of the make over she gave me ; )

The Pool! Last weekend Micah went swimming for the first time! I wasn't sure how much he'd enjoy this experience considering he SCREAMS during his baths still. He sees his bath chair and hears the water start running and trembles in fear, poor guy. Luckily, this water experience was much more calm. I can't say he loved it, but he definitely didn't scream. I wish I would've gotten a full body shot of him in his swim attire before he got in the water because he was pretty stinkin' cute, but I forgot. Thank you Wyatt for the hand-me-down!

Micah's First Love Micah absolutely LOVES this flower. It's the first toy he grabs for and he saturates it with sweet slobbery kisses.

Mustache Night Every week the kids have a theme night at AWANA. The themes don't necessarily fit in to the teaching, rather it's just some added fun for the kids. This night was clearly mustache night. Our Spark and our Puggle We are so proud of Taylor, she just finished her 1st Spark book! I'm pretty sure that might be a record; the book is supposed to take the entire AWANA year to complete (it parallels the school year). She has learned a ton of scripture. We've been talking to her about hiding God's Word in her heart not just learning the memory verses for rewards and then forgetting them. She definitely treasures His Word and loves learning more about her relationship with her Father. Marilyn has enjoyed teaching the AWANA Puggle material to Hailey. Her memory verse is "God made everything." Hailey enjoys learning about creation and singing. Thank you Marilyn!

It's Cereal Time! It's no secret Micah loves to eat. I knew he was going to love rice cereal. Around 4 1/2 months he was showing signs of being ready for this great event. The outcome - He loved it! See how excited he was? He had already taken a few bites when we snapped this photo, but this is what he did from the beginning. He couldn't get in his mouth fast enough. More mom, MORE!!!! It has taken Micah a couple of feedings to get used to waiting for each bite whereas with nursing he gets constant food. He ended his first feeding quite upset and sucking on his spoon trying to get food out. =) Micah gets upset now if I take a bite of food and he doesn't get some so I can't wait to surprise him in a couple of weeks with fruits and veggies!

Halloween Oops, I've gotten behind on my posts again. Hopefully I will have time to do several quick posts to catch back up; we've been busy, busy! We had a very happy Halloween this year. We went to a couple different Halloween functions including our first ever Trunk-or-Treat and a Fallapalooza Festival. Here's the gang at Fallapalooza, held at Shawn and Ashley's church. Zachariah is holding Micah, Hailey, Taylor, and Kylee (Zachariah's friend). *Don't mind the extra hand in the lower corner The kid's all dressed up. Hailey was a cheerleader, Taylor was an enchanted butterfly, and Micah a skeleton.
