Swimming Lessons Taylor finally started swimming lessons today (I wanted to do this with her when she was 6 months old, but oh well)! She is in a class with 10 other kids at a local community pool. The lessons last a 1/2 an hour. The structure of our class is sing a song, learn a skill, practice the skill, sing a song, learn a skill, practice the skill, sing a song, go home! The skills we learned today are the 3 safest ways to hold your baby in the water and then blowing bubbles. We had a great time!

Sharing Mommy I just completed my first week of babysitting part-time for a dear friend of mine, Joy. I was a little nervous to take on another child, but we all had a great time together. Overall Taylor has done a pretty good job of sharing mommy, but she has definitely had her jealous moments. For some reason Taylor gets very jealous when I change Lawson's diaper, weird huh? Taylor has also taken interest in some old toys as you'll see in the pictures. Taylor likes to push Lawson in the swing she stands there saying "weeeee"

"Do The Puyallup" Taylor and the goat checking each other out in the petting area making some music This year we went to the fair on opening day and watched the parade complete with a cattle drive and Taylor LOVED it! Here she is cheering for the horses. Taylor petting the sheep Taylor got to meet Dora at the fair. These pictures don't do her reaction justice. She got so excited when she saw Dora. She started saying "Dora, Dora..." with the biggest smile on her face. She was very sad to let other kids have their turn. Taylor loves to read. Her favorite part of the petting zoo was standing there reading this sign. She started crying when we tried to take her away.

Play Group Today was Taylor's first day in her new play group. She had a lot of fun playing with her new friends. Right now there are two other girls (Allie and Ivy) and one little boy (Eli). Everyone lives within a couple of blocks of our house so Taylor has some friends in our neighborhood. Plus it's fun for me to meet some women who live around us!
