Taylor's 1st Day of School Here she is, 5 years old and ready to head off to Kindergarten! Taylor begged us to ride the bus. I tried to explain to her how much I wanted to take her and pick her up, but she REALLY wanted to ride the bus. So we compromised, she rides the bus to school in the morning and I pick her up afterwards. We let Taylor ride the bus, but then we jumped in the car and raced the bus to school to be there when she got off so we could walk her to class. The bus ride was everything she hoped it would be! Here is Taylor lined up with the rest of her class ready to walk from the gym to her classroom to start the day. Taylor at her table with her name tag.

Happy Birthdays The first week in August is full of birthdays in our family. The 1st is Brittney's, 2 nd is Marilyn's, 3rd is Taylor's and Luke's, 6 th is Ashley's and Laura's, and the 8 th is Debbie's. Zachariah's birthday is also in August on the 31st. One of our big gifts to Taylor this year was getting her ears pierced. Above is the before picture. She asked for pink flower earrings and we found them! So excited! She has no idea what is about to happen... the lady was super fast and did a great job. Taylor was quite stunned after the first ear, but before she could process what had happened the 2 nd ear was done. Taylor was very brave and did not cry one tear (she was very proud of that accomplishment)! Pierced ears! Happy 26 th Ashley! Happy birthday Luke, Debbie, Ashley, and Brittney! A special Happy 50 th Birthday to Grandma Debbie!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!!! Taylor is FIVE years old today! This year we had a horse party for Taylor at Grandpa Scott and Laura's "ranch." We drove 5 of Taylor's friends down to Napavine for a day of horse riding fun. The girls LOVED every second and so did we. Grandpa, Laura, and Anna helped plan an over-the-top, incredible party for Taylor. Anna invited her 4-H friends so every girl had their own horse and trainer. The girls got to decorate their horses with glitter and paint, they learned to lasso, we had lunch in the hay loft, we had our own gaming show complete with a ribbon ceremony and craft time where the girls made their own horse to race. Thank you Grandpa, Laura, Anna, and 4H friends! So many wonderful memories were made!
