A quick Tabitha update -
As some of you may have heard Tabitha spent all last night in the ER for excessive bleeding. She lost A LOT of blood. They had blood ready for a transfusion, but luckily that wasn't needed (for those of you who haven't heard all the details about her labor story she also had similar issues immediately after giving birth to Hailey). Long story short, she ended up being put out and getting a DNC (where they scrape the lining of your uterus). The doctor said he removed lots of blood clots and possibly some placenta fragments. Because of the anesthesia Tabitha could not nurse for 24 hours so Hailey got to experience a couple of firsts as a result of the ordeal - her first bottle and her first taste of formula. Luckily Tabitha had started pumping recently so we did have some milk in the fridge. Tabitha got home early this morning and is taking it easy and recovering. Hopefully this solved the problem.
Thanks Joy for providing transportation and taking care of my wife.
