It all started with Taylor selecting the pumpkin of her choice
She was eager to dive right in
Forget the top, she wanted the whole thing
Mom stepped in and lent a helping hand
That is, until a minute later when Taylor decided she'd had enough
So Dad ended up with a little more than his fair share of the work

However, the next morning Taylor was proud to show off her new Jack O'Lantern

The finished product - An Elmo inspired masterpiece

So cute! And the pumpkin does have some very dominant Elmo qualities. Daniel ended up doing most of the carving in our home too. Emily is not a fan of "slimy" pumpkin guts, however, she is the first to take credit for the finished product. :O) Also, Emily is very excited that Taylor gets to be Elmo for Halloween so you will have to post lots of pictures of her in her costume so Emily can admire them.

I love the documented progress!!! You two are troopers! It's not easy focusing on one thing when you are 1 years old! :)

You have a talent with pumpkins!
